The detail
How we approach it
Grading, drainage, footers, driveways and site prep across West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. If water is running toward the house instead of away from it, the fix starts here — not with another coat of sealer on the basement wall.
Most chronic wet-basement problems are grade problems. The ground has settled toward the foundation over twenty years, and no amount of interior work will beat gravity. Re-establishing slope, cutting a swale, or running a proper drain line solves what waterproofing paint can't.
We also dig for what gets built on top: footers for additions and foundations, pads for outbuildings, and base for driveways that hold up to weather and weight instead of rutting the first wet spring.
